THE FULL STORY

Ryman Healthcare Limited is a public company listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange. It has been operating facilities in New Zealand for the elderly since 1984 and is considered to be a pioneer in many aspects of the healthcare industry.

The main issue for Ryman, when looking at business software, was to find a system that could manage the complexity and size of the group structure, as it operates independent apartments, serviced apartments and studio units, rest homes and hospitals throughout New Zealand.

Simon Challies, Chief Financial Officer at Ryman Healthcare, was impressed by the overall performance of the suite of Greentree products and the smooth integration of Greentree into their business. By implementing Greentree Ryman has been able to streamline its systems and is seeing vast improvements to its efficiency and overall business capabilities. The business has really gained momentum, as Challies now believes that by using Greentree they have successfully reduced their construction development times by 3 months, reducing the development time for a retirement complex from 12 months to 9 months.

The ability to customise modules to meet their exact business requirements is key for Ryman. They have completed a number of customisations with Verde, allowing information and options to be adapted to the specific day to day needs of the Ryman users.
